Multifunctional lightweight hall<\/h2>

The challenge of the project was to ensure that the canteen at MTU Aero Engines AG continued to operate smoothly during the construction of the new building. An innovative mobile solution was needed for the period from demolition to completion. Initially, kitchen containers were considered, but in order to offer maximum flexibility and sufficient space, a multifunctional lightweight hall was chosen. This impressive hall, with a floor area of 110 x 30 metres and an eaves height of 5.2 metres, ultimately provided space for the entire canteen operation.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>

\n More than just a canteen<\/span>

Space solution with added value<\/h2>

The lightweight hall was not only used as a place to serve food, but also provided space for social rooms, offices, storage, washing-up areas and a production kitchen. Air conditioning ensured a pleasant working environment, while intelligent room planning and workflow design ensured that both guests in the canteen and employees in the offices were optimally catered for at all times. The challenge was compounded by the fact that completion and the start of operations coincided with the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. Thanks to well-thought-out planning, all necessary safety measures were easily integrated into the process.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>

A concept with a future<\/h2>

The successful implementation of this project led to another positive development. Thanks to the successful collaboration and the convincing concept, Telia has now been commissioned with another project: the delivery and management of a canteen for the next four years. This demonstrates the satisfaction of our partner MTU Aero Engines AG, its trust in our innovative solutions and our ability to provide excellent service even in challenging times.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>

Pop-up kitchen for the Austrian Chefs’ Association<\/h3>

Telia provided a fully equipped pop-up kitchen for a public cooking event organised by the Austrian Chefs’ Association. The appliances came from Telia’s rental equipment pool and were delivered and handed over ready for use.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n<\/a>\n \n

During the renovation of the existing dining hall, Telia set up a temporary food service area in the auditorium event area of the ADAC headquarters. The solution includes the planning and implementation of food service, regeneration kitchen and logistics areas.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n<\/a>\n \n

Production kitchen with decentralised food distribution<\/h3>

Sch\u00fctz<\/p>\n<\/div>

A temporary kitchen for staff catering has been set up at the Sch\u00fctz headquarters in Selters. It will be in operation for 36 months. Telia is responsible for planning and implementing the technical building equipment and all the commercial kitchen technology.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n<\/a>\n \n

Lightweight hall in combination with container solution<\/h3>

Brenner opera grill<\/p>\n<\/div>

An interim kitchen with extended storage capacity was implemented for the renovation of the Brenner Operngrill. The Brenner Operngrill is considered one of the top addresses in Munich.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n<\/a>\n \n

Supply solution for emergency shelter in the Federal State of Bavaria<\/h3>

Emergency Shelter Warngau<\/p>\n<\/div>

A fully equipped temporary canteen was set up for an emergency shelter run by the Federal state of Bavaria. The facility provides meals for around 500 people every day, who are housed in a modular container facility for 24 months. <\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n<\/a>\n \n

Lightweight hall in the hospital courtyard with full building services<\/h3>

Franziskus Spital in Wien<\/p>\n<\/div>

An interim kitchen with a direct connection to the existing building was constructed in 2025 to supply a hospital. The solution ensures the preparation and serving of meals for patients and staff over a period of 16 months. <\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n<\/a>\n \n

ENGEL AUSTRIA GmbH<\/p>\n<\/div>

Engel, the global leader in polymer injection molding machines, expanded its headquarters in Schwertberg, Austria, by adding new production halls. During this expansion, the existing kitchen and buffet line serving 900 guests daily were replaced with a temporary kitchen.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n<\/a>\n \n
