Lightweight hall in combination with container solution
An interim kitchen with extended storage capacity was implemented for the renovation of the Brenner Operngrill. The Brenner Operngrill is considered one of the top addresses in Munich – between the Bavarian State Opera and the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten – and the requirements for function, fire protection and appearance at this prominent location were correspondingly high.

Compact solution in a limited space
Due to the cramped building conditions, a pure hall solution was not feasible. The combination of a lightweight hall measuring around 225 m² with four connected kitchen containers offered the best use of the available space. Storage and production areas were fully integrated.
Technology, fire protection and architecture
The facility was built fully air-conditioned and without anchoring, without interfering with the substance. Fire protection and fire department zones were planned in detail, as was the connection to the existing building. As the location is between the opera house and the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten, the solution had to blend in visually with the surroundings and not interfere in any way with ongoing opera operations.
